Christian Union

Every Monday, Mitch leads a Christian Union at the local secondary school, Dartmouth Community College. This lasts for an hour over the lunch break. The goal of this is to teach and encourage young Christians in their faith and to give non-christians something to think about.

We average about 8 each week but have had as many as 15. About half of these are Christians.

We have a relaxed style lesson each week. It involves discussion and often a game or activity to reinforce the lesson. Occasionally we listen to tapes or watch a video.

The lessons are usually topical targeting areas that are important to the young people. The lesson always includes what the Bible has to say about the subject. Sometimes the group members choose the topics.
