Good News Club

Many of you will remember that Mitch and Vicki held a Good News Club at the Dartmouth Primary School. That club was very well received and enjoyed by many of the primary school children. Unfortunately, we were told we could no longer do the club after we made the decision to homeschool our children.
So, we prayed. And we asked many of you to pray, as well, that possibly the school's headmaster would see fit to resign. (We honestly never imagined that this would actually happen!) And the reason for that is because the headmaster determines who is in the school and which clubs are allowed. So, in the end, it was solely his decision.
The headmaster resigned last winter and a new headmaster was appointed and started this past Spring.
After a very well-received and successful assembly which Mitch and the Youth Action Chairman, Tony Wood, did in June of last year, an entrance was made again into the school. It was a very positive experience. The hope was that, after that initial contact with the headmaster, an after-school club could start this Sept (2001). However, for some reason, that didn't start. We had expected that the chances of starting then were pretty high.
A letter was written by our chairman reminding Mr. Medway, the headmaster, of our desire to bring this club for the children, and so we wait and hope that he will consider this again for the start of the next term.
So, with all this in mind, PLEASE PRAY FOR US REGARDING THE GOOD NEWS CLUB.
