Veggie Tales Party

Our Veggie Tales Party theme for this year's Light Party was a hit! Joining Bob and Larry on 31 October 1998, were children dressed as The Giant Pickle, Pa Grape, and Junior Asparagus. Not to mention an assortment of various fruits and vegetables - a pumpkin, an apple, oranges, a squashed tomato, a blueberry and a bunch of bananas.

These children, aged 4-7, joined Vicki for a variety of fruit/vegetable games, crafts, snacks, and the "Where's God When I'm Scared" Video. There were 13 children who came for the party.

Mitch followed the same theme for his age group, 8-12's. He, too, chose a variety of fruit and vegetable games and quizzes. His snacks were tasty consisting of carrot cake, spring onion crisps, and orange Kit Kats. He had 15 children attend his party rather than any of the other Halloween activities on offer in the town.

The Veggie Tales Party was well attended and lots of fun for all who attended - children and helpers alike.
