Constituting Document

Youth Action Dartmouth has been set up to advance the Christian faith by furthering the work of Christian outreach to young people in Dartmouth. It operates within the following guidelines:

1. Financial support will be raised from concerned members of the churches in Dartmouth, and from other individuals.

2. Initially the work will be carried out by Mitch and Vicki Spangler, seconded to Youth Action Dartmouth from Global Outreach.

3. The money raised will be used to provide the workers with housing, so long as this is required, and to cover other expenses for the ministry of Youth Action Dartmouth.

4. There will be a governing body of Youth Action Dartmouth, known as the Youth Action Dartmouth Support Group. This body shall consist of at least three members. They will elect a Chairman and a Treasurer from their number. The Support Group is responsible for electing new members.

5. Youth Action Dartmouth will manage a bank account, with the Chairman and Treasurer as authorised signatories of bank transactions.
